Middle Section Welcomes Miss Dominique

On May 2nd, Mrs. Dominique Dumay arrived as an Inspector for the Middle Section to replace Miss Evy.

She is an ex-Craighouse student and an artist, and is “very happy and hoping to give the best” of herself to this “beautiful and beloved community.” Most of the people she knows has studied here at Craighouse; her dad is also a former student and to this day, 48 years after graduating, he still keeps his friends.

Ms. Decker, an English teacher in Middle, met her last year during a replacement. “It shocked me because her English was perfect!” Finding out that Miss Dominique is a Craighouse alumna, she said her fluency in English is “absolutely understandable.”

Her presence has also been received warmly by students. Dominga, a 6th grade pupil commented, “She cut my lock.”

Hopefully she stays at Craighouse for even longer than Miss Evy!
