Corbetta Makes Waves

Dante Corbetta went to a national swimming competition between June 24th and June 26th at the Estadio Nacional.

Dante is a 6th grade student that enjoys swimming. His team, Hacienda Santa Martina, got second place. They had only ten swimmers compared to the other teams who had about 20 swimmers.

There were many teams, about 32, from all over Chile. The team that won was Andes Club, who had 25 points.

About his time, Dante said he was happy with the results. “The weekend before the competition I was with COVID so I trained very little for this competition.” He did better this time than last time, during summer.

This inspires other people, even if they can’t physically practice, maybe they could succeed too. Now that he can train, Dante will do even better.
