Primary students had their Intercolor on May 18th in the Craighouse fields.
From 5th grade onwards, we have our own day for the Interhouses. But pupils of the primary section also participated in these activities. Students from 1st grade to 4th grade took part in activities such as 50m races, high and long jump and cricket ball.
“I felt very nervous since I am not what you would call the 'best' in sports,” Laura Llevenes, a primary student, said about how she felt in the Interhouses.
This event is made towards primary students, and teachers support their students with their whole heart.
“I am more than happy to see them compete in teams, with children they don't normally play with. I like to see them compete, try their best, and learn how to win and lose gracefully!” Mr. Benjamin Adams, a 4th grade teacher said about his students competing in the Interhouses.
Overall, in the Primary girls, the color red won. In the boys, the color white won.
4th grade students can look forward to taking part in the Middle Interhouses which includes much bigger competitions that all of classes above 5th grade contend against.
